Club administrators

Getting started as a club administrator

Take responsibility for the club page, regular programme and the sections underneath it.

  1. 01Confirm your access

Sign in, open the club profile and use Claim this club if it is unclaimed. The Platform Owner reviews club claims. Preparing information or being a club member does not itself grant admin access.

  2. 02Review the club information

Open Admin, then your club. Check its name, location, description and public information. Correct inherited or member-prepared details before treating them as club-confirmed.

  3. 03Set up your sections

Use Club subgroups to add sections such as Women’s Golf, juniors or a touring group. Create them under the existing club, rather than as duplicate clubs.

  4. 04Agree responsibilities

Arrange authorised administrators for each section. A club administrator can manage its sections; a subgroup administrator’s authority remains within that subgroup.

  5. 05Check the whole course programme

Review the shared calendar, recurring sessions and special-event conflicts. Set course access separately from event entry, and confirm the programme with section organisers.

  6. 06Keep a weekly routine

Check the next fortnight, review pending members and update changes as they arise. Ask RoundUp for help when a handover or role change is required.

A practical example

Westown’s prepared programme is a starting point for its incoming administrator to check. It does not replace confirmation by the club.

RoundUp complements Golf NZ / DotGolf. Official club bookings remain with the club’s chosen booking service.
