Incoming administrators and club representatives
From assisted setup to club handover
Start with prepared information, confirm it with the club and take over with your own account.
01Share the starting information
Submit the club setup form with the programme, proposed sections, booking arrangements and incoming administrator details if known. A newsletter link is useful; do not include member lists or passwords.
02Review with RoundUp’s platform owner
The owner follows up on missing details and prepares the agreed club page, groups and initial events. The setup request is stored privately and tracked through review and preparation.
03Confirm the programme
Check weekly times, seasonal changes, event exceptions, fees and course access. Mark unresolved details for confirmation rather than treating them as approved.
04Verify the representative
The proposed administrator registers with their own account. The appropriate authorised administrator verifies the role and assigns access through the normal approval process.
05Check the handover together
Open the club, subgroups and event-management pages. Confirm the administrator can manage the intended scope and knows where to get help.
06Take responsibility for updates
Agree who checks the programme each week. The Platform Owner records the handover; changing a setup-request status does not itself grant access or claim a club.
A practical example
Westown’s member-prepared schedule saves initial setup time while leaving final confirmation and takeover with the club’s authorised administrator.
