Managing a club subgroup

Run your section while sharing a clear course calendar with the rest of the club.

  1. 01Find your subgroup

Open the parent club and select your section under Club subgroups. An authorised club or organisation administrator prepares the subgroup and arranges its administration.

  2. 02Understand your scope

Manage the members and events of the subgroup you administer. Subgroup membership does not automatically join every other section, and subgroup admin access does not grant control of the parent club or sibling sections.

  3. 03Choose the actual venue

For home sessions, select your club as the course. For an away trip, select the visiting course. The calendar follows the event’s venue.

  4. 04Separate visibility from entry

Choose whether the public calendar shows event details or only course availability. A visible listing does not give other players permission to participate.

  5. 05Coordinate restrictions

Only the course club or its own subgroup organisers may confirm its access restrictions or special-event priority. An away organiser must coordinate restrictions with the host course.

  6. 06Resolve clashes with the club

Read any ‘needs confirmation’ notice, agree whether the session runs, moves or is cancelled, then amend that occurrence. Check future weeks remain correct.

A practical example

Kids coaching can be information only with the course remaining open. An unknown finish time or a special event on the same date can still require a clubhouse check.
